About this TerraViva

TerraViva is an independent publication of IPS-Inter Press Service news agency. This conference newspaper has been produced by IPS since the early nineties at different international and regional conferences, starting from the 1994 United Nations International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) in Cairo, Egypt.

This ICAAP 2009 edition of TerraViva is produced by IPS Asia-Pacific, the regional news organization that is part of the international IPS network, as part of its coverage of the AIDS conference in Bali from Aug. 9-13, 2009.

The opinions expressed in TerraViva do not necessarily reflect the editorial views of IPS Asia-Pacific.
